We asked the people of Leeds would you like to be a millionaire?

00:00 Would you like to be a millionaire?
00:02 I don't do the lottery. I do have premium bonds.
00:07 I suppose everyone is asked that question.
00:10 I probably never will be, so I probably don't tend to think about it.
00:14 I think sometimes you say, well, if, what if?
00:17 But it's not likely to happen.
00:20 I'm not likely to spend my money on the lottery every week.
00:22 It's just one of those things. Some people are lucky.
00:25 I don't tend to win things anyway.
00:28 I'm dewed out on that one.
00:31 What would be the answer to the question of what if?
00:34 What would you do if you had that money?
00:36 Probably, because I'm living in a flat, I'd probably like to go and sell that and buy a house.
00:41 I've moved out of my house for the garden and now I'm living in a flat.
00:45 I just find that if I had a bit extra, I could then get what I want.
00:51 But I don't want a posh car or anything like that.
00:54 Would you like to be a millionaire?
00:57 No, I don't think I would actually. No, no.
00:59 Live nice and comfortably, which I enjoy doing now anyway.
01:02 So no, probably not.
01:04 Why not?
01:06 Why not? Woo!
01:07 I wouldn't know what to do with it because I'm happy in the environment and everything that I am now,
01:11 to be honest with you, my little world, my little family.
01:13 So yeah, just happy as I am.
01:15 Would you like to be a millionaire?
01:18 I mean, yeah, I would.
01:24 It's a weird thing to think about because it's like, yeah, a millionaire,
01:27 but are you going to be happy with that money?
01:31 Are you going to be kind of...
01:33 But there are a lot of people in Leeds who are millionaires on paper,
01:38 but they don't have the income.
01:40 People are trapped in their own homes that are worth over a million,
01:43 but they don't have a millionaire's income and lifestyle.
01:46 Again, it's what you want from life.
