Transcript
00:00 I'm going to take you region by region
00:02 and let's start you off across the
00:04 northern plains in the Midwest.
00:06 So we do have severe threats on
00:08 the way for today and tomorrow.
00:10 First, let's start off with Tuesday
00:12 into Tuesday night.
00:13 Intense downpours,
00:14 hail and isolated tornadoes.
00:15 Now we do have a moderate risk on the board.
00:19 That's going to extend past the
00:21 Canadian border down I-29,
00:22 including Grand Forks,
00:23 where we have that moderate risk means
00:25 numerous severe storms possible with
00:27 intense downpours, hail and isolated
00:29 tornadoes with localized damaging
00:30 wind gusts between 55 to 65 mph.
00:32 But your accurate local storm
00:34 ex holds at 90 mph,
00:36 so it is going to be rather blustery outside.
00:39 Now we do have that risk for some
00:42 severe weather isolated in nature,
00:43 just east of Denver.
00:45 We're going to travel up past I-80,
00:47 I-90 and even past I-94 into the
00:50 Canadian into Canada where we are
00:52 tracking that isolated risk for some.
00:54 So we're going to be pretty
00:56 isolated and we're going to be
00:58 tracking that risk for some severe
01:00 weather but severe weather is severe
01:02 weather so definitely have a way to
01:04 receive severe weather alerts.
01:05 I'm going to plug the free after
01:08 weather app with that Wednesday
01:09 afternoon into Wednesday night.
01:10 We watch this energy shift east and
01:13 that's when we're going to be watching
01:15 more storms numerous in nature propagate
01:17 from Chicago to Detroit to Fort Wayne.
01:19 Very populated areas.
01:20 So be on the lookout for severe
01:22 weather as we head into tomorrow.
01:24 With that flash flood risk,
01:25 hail, isolated tornadoes,
01:26 and your localized damaging winds.
01:28 That's still going to be a concern.
01:30 Now let's take you to the
01:32 Northeast in the Mid Atlantic,
01:33 where we also have severe threats.
01:35 This is Tuesday afternoon
01:36 and the Tuesday evening.
01:38 Washington DC included in this
01:39 moderate risk from the Delmarva.
01:41 We're going to shoot that South
01:42 flash flooding hail.
01:43 You can expect travel disruptions,
01:45 but even some severe weather possible
01:46 as we travel north along I-95,
01:48 even upwards towards I-87 to Albany,
01:50 NY.
01:50 That's where we're going to have that
01:52 risk for some severe weather isolated
01:54 in nature, but then as we head
01:56 into Thursday, well, we do have that
01:59 wave of energy that's pushing in
02:01 coming in from the West.
02:02 That same piece of energy that's
02:04 propagating bringing that severe
02:06 weather to areas like Chicago to
02:08 Detroit while we're also packing
02:10 quite the punch from Syracuse,
02:11 the Albany down I-87 with flooding
02:13 downpours, travel disruptions,
02:14 and localized damaging winds.
02:16 And some severe weather is going
02:18 to extend from New England all
02:20 the way down towards Washington DC.
02:23 Thank you.
02:24 All right.
