Caretaker Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has denied that he did not answer multiple phone calls from the police prior to his 3am arrest on Tuesday (July 18).  Speaking to reporters after attending the state-level Maal Hijrah 1445H celebration in Alor Setar on Wednesday (July 19), Sanusi said he had been in contact with a police officer from Bukit Aman via WhatsApp and given his cooperation that he would be present at the Selayang Sessions Court to face charges.
