00:14 Some people are trying to exploit this opportunity to attack our institutions. They have a huge
00:19 responsibility and I fully blame this, this violence, this injustifiable violence. Faced
00:27 with this, on the whole of France, our response was adjusted. People with a lot of cool responded.
00:44 This afternoon, we took a number of measures with the various departments. The interior
00:53 minister will have to mobilize more resources and we deploy additional resources for the
01:01 minister and there will be a number of circular statements so that minors and adults can be
01:13 investigated and charged. So faced with these events, we decided to cancel a number of festivities
01:24 in the most sensitive department in order to protect city halls and to protect citizens.
01:31 I would like to end by saying this. We made a number of decisions and we call on all parents
01:41 to feel responsible, to be responsible, because what we see is the work of a number of well-organized
01:51 violent groups, well-equipped, and so we will charge them. But also there's a lot of young
01:59 people. One third of arrested people are very young and it is up to parents to keep them
02:06 at home. And so it is important for the safety of everyone that a parent's responsibility
02:14 be fully displayed. So I would like to call on parents to be responsible. The government
02:20 will not substitute parents, even though we have to take a number of steps and we have
02:27 to implement what is laid down by the law. Furthermore, social media play a very strong
02:35 role in the events of the last days. We saw that TikTok and other platforms have organized
02:45 violent meetings and there's a kind of a "me too" in terms of violence. And so this means
02:52 that some young people are escaping reality and some of them live in the street, the video
03:00 games that they feel intoxicated with. And the law has to call on the responsibility
03:08 of parents. In the next hours, actually, we've started setting up a number of measures. First,
03:18 we want those social media to withdraw the most sensitive contents. And so we will connect
03:25 with those media in order to have a responsible response. I want those social media to feel
03:35 responsible as well. And whenever useful, we will call on them to find who is using
03:45 those social media to bring about disorder or to bring about violence. This is what I
03:51 had to say in the wake of this emergency meeting. We will meet as often as possible and under
03:59 the authority of the Prime Minister, those decisions will be implemented. I would like
