Liberals preselect Maria Kovacic to replace late Jim Molan in Senate

The Liberal party has chosen a woman, it's former state party president to be its next senator. Maria Kovacic, from the party's moderate faction will fill the vacancy created by the late Jim Molan - a conservative former major-general who died in January.
