Before its official unveiling, a new amphibious responder acquired by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission was put to the test in a real life emergency that occurred in 2022.
On Wednesday, the vehicle was commissioned and an announcement was made that there are plans to purchase a second responder.
