A competition regulator has said they take issues with the takeover of St David’s Hall very seriously, after a number of councillors wrote to air their concerns. The Academy music group, who also head the CIA and a new venue in the bay, have been in talks to operate St David’s hall, which has caused controversy in the city.

Plaid Cymru have announced a new Chief Executive after their former chief left the role last year. Owen Roberts will take over the role amid speculation of toxic behaviour and a lack of leadership at the party. Plaid said he will take over the role in the coming weeks.

A road named in honour of former First minster Rhodri Morgan has been spelled wrong. He was Wales’ longest serving first minister, in office between 2000 and 2009, and died in 2017. The housing developer in charge of the street and cardiff council have said they will rectify the issue.
