WA burning program failing to protect biodiversity amid dry climate

A parliamentary committee has heard WA's prescribed burning program is becoming increasingly problematic given the drying climate. There are calls for an independent review into the long-held approach with criticism it's failing to protect rare and endemic biodiversity.
