Acne Medication Gave Me Vitiligo & Alopecia | SHAKE MY BEAUTY
  • 3 years ago
A MAN whose acne medication gave him a severe medical condition is now embracing his body by modelling. Kirt from Louisiana, USA went to a dermatologist in 2019 and was prescribed a drug for his acne. Unfortunately, Kirt had a severe reaction to the medication, and it gave him a condition called D.R.E.S.S syndrome (drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms). Within five months, the condition caused him to develop alopecia and vitiligo across his entire body. He told Truly: "It messed up with my confidence." Despite this, Kirt has found a new love for his body by modelling and raising awareness for his condition.
