Lord Krishna was a naishthik brahmachari (celibate), which means that His opinion was always in favour of brahmacharya. Despite having so many wives and all the luxuries as a King, internally He was always on the side of brahmacharya. He remained totally separate from the external actions of non-celibacy. That is why He was a naishthik brahmachari.
