Bobsleigh team take to WWII tunnels used by the Nazis to practice

A British bobsleigh team has been training in a converted tunnel - built by the NAZIS during the war.

The Jersey Bobsleigh Team practice in the tunnels which were used by the Germans to store ammunition during the occupation of the Channel Islands.

With a stable temperature year round and a slight uphill slant, the team said they found the tunnels to be the perfect place for push training sessions.

The five members of the team meet in the tunnels three times a week, and believe they use it more than the Nazis ever did.
