A three-year-old boy has been praised by police after he called 999 for help when his mum had an accident in their Coventry home. Brave Taylor Price, from Foleshill in Coventry, called the emergency services when his mother fell down the stairs in their home and lay unconscious in the hallway. Unable to wake his mum, 21-year-old Chloe Price, quick-thinking Taylor raised the alarm by finding her mobile phone and calmly dialling for help. In a recording of the 999 call, a West Midlands Police contact centre officer can be heard to ask "what's the matter?" to which Taylor replies "my Mummy has hurt herself." He can then be heard calling out to Ms Price before the call cuts out. Operators tried to return the call but were unable to get an answer. It's at that stage that West Midlands Police emergency operators set about quickly tracing the call so they could find Taylor's location and send much needed help. Response officer PC Claudette Jordan and her colleague PC Sarah Wheatcroft were the first officers to get to the address.
