We discuss Jim Starlin's comic book relationship and fascination with Death as a cosmic entity, as he kills off some of our favorite characters in stories involving Thanos, Infinity Gauntlet, Adam Warlock, Captain Marvel, Gamora, Pip the Troll, Dreadstar, Cosmic Odyssey, The KGBeast, The Cult, Kid Kosmos, Captain Comet, and the New Gods. We start at his early fanzine work and find that this has been a decades long topic for one of our favorite writer-artists.
