For 200 years, through seven generations, the Fillioux family of Cognac, France, has composed some of the finest cognacs in the world. From vineyards to barrels to bottles, these guardians of quality select from hundreds of eaux de vie to craft the blends of today—and of decades to come. In 2016, current Hennessy Master Blender Yann Fillioux hands the torch to an eighth generation: his nephew, Renaud Fillioux de Gironde. Together they produced a rare, limited-edition blend called Hennessy 8.
