Don't Get Found on the Google Front Page Until You Do This
A business's reputation is essential to its survival
In the modern age where review and social networking sites are widespread, it is vital that businesses know what clients or customers are saying about them online.
Imagine this - spending thousands of dollars on Google Ads or a website, and using every search engine optimization tool to help you get found easily online, just to discover that poor reviews, or just as bad, no reviews, are driving potential customers to call your competition instead of you!
If you need a local lawyer and you Google for example "Solicitors Sydney" you will see front and centre a swag of business and maps listings - all with their Google reviews.
If there is one solicitor with 2 bad reviews, another with no reviews, and the third with eleven mainly 5 Star reviews - who are you going to call? Those 4 and 5 Star Ratings catch your eye, don’t they!
Let’s face it, a good reputation puts a business miles in front of their competition.
It gets more leads. It closes more sales.
All a salesman has to do to close an undecided prospect is have them Google the business, then read what great things others are saying about doing business with the company. Job done!
Same for any local business - your reviews are front and centre when you Google your business. That’s why it is so important to manage your business's online reputation. It gives you a competitive advantage, establishes you as an industry leader and trusted expert - and get the clicks $$$.
Think with this data
In a recent survey this question was asked. "After being referred to a business by a friend or family member, what do you do next?"
87% responded that they searched online to get more information about the company!
And when they do, what are they going to see?
Your review scorecard courtesy of Mr Google, of course!
Will they be calling you or the competition?
