In Peru, thousands of workers, students, and business people marched in Lima to protest corruption, insecurity, and low wages. Organized by the General Confederation of Workers of Peru the march ended in a peaceful rally. The demonstration demanded that the current minimum wage of US$240 a month be increased to US$470. teleSUR
