A bipartisan delegation of U.S. senators arrived Saturday in Cuba. Democratic Senators Patrick Leahy of Vermont and Ben Cardin of Maryland and Republican Dean Heller of Nevada met with Vice-President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, and ordinary Cubans. They called for an end to Washington's ban on U.S. citizens visiting Cuba and for opening an embassy in Havana, in opposition to the position of right-wing congressmen who approved motions opposing such measures. teleSUR
