The bombing by a Saudi-led coalition started on Wednesday night and continued on Thursday. Its aim is to halt the advance of Houthi rebels, which Saudi Arabia sees as allies of Iran. Targets included the Sana airport and Houthi defense posts in residential areas. The chairman of the Arab Socialist Movement, Ahmed Al-Ahmad says that the Saudi-led coalition is a tool of the United States. Huge protests are demanding an end to the military aggression.
