National Assembly and local mayor elections will be held March 1 in El Salvador. The ruling left-wing Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front, with years of successful social programs under its belt, is squaring off against the right-wing ARENA party. Campaigning has now officially come to an end ahead of Sunday's vote.
