Maria de los Angeles Pineda, wife of the former mayor of Iguala, was sent to a federal prison on charges of organized crime and drug trafficking to name a few. Though she is being investigated for her involvement in the disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students who were taken by Iguala's municipal police, she is not currently facing charges for that case. teleSUR
