The Latin American Progressive Conference that just concluded in Ecuador discussed the new challenges facing the left in the region. It also analyzed the new strategies being used by right-wing forces against the region's legitimate governments. The participants, from, among other countries, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, and Bolivia, called for establishing a common front in Latin America against the different forms of coups that attempt to disqualify and destabilize the lawful progressive governments. teleSUR
