Wish I could just tear your heart and see through you,
Wish I could just let the tears dry up in view,
Wish I could force you back in my arms,
Wish I could measure the love within, the one that swells for you.
The unseen is distant and impatience rules my senses,
Never has my heart craved for your love’s genuineness,
I’m blinded by your image when sun reigns,
I cry over your mystic shadow when the wane lune prevails.
Not that I’m in a hurry to wish you back,
It’s the sickness of being that you turn your back.,
I sing a prayer for you I stand all alone,
the heart ache swells and leaves me forlorn.
Would you breathe life in to me, will you show that you care,
I search for my essence but all I find is despair,
I’m trying to face the sun I’m desperate for peace,
I know I’d stand high when the dark clouds come clean
