Kenya's security image abroad had already been rapidly deteriorating when Islamist militants rampaged the coastal town of Mpeketoni on Sunday, allegedly looking for "non-Muslims" and killing at least 49 people. Not only has this terrorist attack raised grave security concerns, but it might also prove a near-fatal blow to Kenya's tourist industry, already in tatters.
