The aim of this software is to analyze, design and develop a software simulator of social networks: the SNASim Platform, a virtual online network where populations of intelligent agents interact (browse profiles based on criteria, request / accept / delete friendship, tag etc) like people do on social networks (facebook, twitter etc).
SNASim Platform provides tools for modeling and network configuration of the users and the simulation engine, combining rich client platform GUI and informative tools.
SNASim Platform is hoping to add to the toolbox of the social network analyzer.
Functionality includes: batch population creation of rational agents (ie virtual users of the social network), batch user-agent personality configuration based on distributions, statistical output per epoch of simulation
