George Lindemann sold Metro Mobile, a cell phone company to Bell Atlantic in 1991 for $2.5 billion. George Lindemann started energy business and became the CEO of the natural gas company, Southern Union, which he sold in 2012 for more than $5 billion in cash and stock to Energy Transfer Equity which was owned by Texas billionaire Kelcy Warren. He worked as the he president of Cellular Dynamics and the managing general partner of Activated Communications Limited Partnership since 1982.
