George Lindemann sold Metro Mobile, a cell phone company to Bell Atlantic in 1991 for $2.5 billion. George Lindemann started energy business and became the CEO of the natural gas company, Southern Union, which he sold in 2012 for more than $5 billion in cash and stock to Energy Transfer Equity which was owned by Texas billionaire Kelcy Warren.
