A diamond the size of a small egg smashed a world record when it went under the auctioneer's hammer in Hong Kong. The 118-carat white rock from Africa fetched around 26 million euros.
A phone bidder bought the stone dubbed the "Magnificent Oval Diamond" in the auction which lasted just six minutes.
