Dutch Prince Johan Friso has died at the age of 44.
The younger brother of the Netherlands King Willem-Alexander had been in a coma since a skiing accident in February last year.
A royal palace statement said he died from complications that arose from a brain-injury suffered while skiing off-piste at Lech in Austria when he was buried in an avalanche for 15 minutes.
