00:00We nearly forgot an important fact. Let's start from the beginning. In the
00:06Quran there are 114 surats. Some people translate surat as a chapter, but it may
00:14be misleading to our Christian brothers and sisters, because a chapter in the
00:21Bible is part of a book, so we can barely translate a surat as a chapter. I
00:27think it's more likely or better to translate a surat as a book. So once
00:34again, in the Quran there are 114 surats. Surats, let's say, books for others to
00:40understand. In the Bible there are some 66 books, at times maybe 73 or 79. It's
00:50depending on which Bible or which denomination you choose. For instance,
00:57difference between a Protestant or a Catholic or an Orthodox Bible, hence the
01:03number of the books may differ. But in the Quran it's always 114. As you all know
01:09there is one single Quran and not different ones. So one of the surats in
01:15the Quran is called Surat Miryam, which means the equivalent of the Book of Mary. So Alhamdulillah, in the Quran we have Surat Miryam, or the Book of Mary, but you cannot find a book of Mary neither in the Old nor in the New Testament. So once again, that is due to the importance of Mary,
01:22Alayha Salaam, for the Muslims, for the Muslims, for the Muslims, for the Muslims, and also as a proof beyond reasonable doubt that the
01:29Quran is the Quran is the continuation among others is the continuation among others is the continuation. It can also be a summary and a summary of the
01:36book of Mary, but you cannot find a book of Mary, neither in the Old nor in the New Testament. So once again, that is due to the importance of Mary, Alayha Salaam, for the Muslims, and also as a proof beyond reasonable doubt that the Quran is the continuation, among others is the continuation. It can also be a summary and a summary of the
01:57and a correction, but that is a totally different topic that we may address, inshallah, in the future. So now you know that we Muslims have Surat Miryam in the Quran, but it is not mentioned neither in the Old Testament nor in the New Testament, implying there is no Book of Mary, neither in the Old nor of the New Testament.
02:25As you can see, the importance of all the Prophets, the frequency of other Prophets. If Muhammad, according to some, for 1400 years, people still believe in certain falsehood, they state that the Prophet Muhammad is a false prophet, or some state he wrote the Quran himself,
02:54the Quran is, as you know, is the word of God, from cover to cover, so to speak, the entire Quran is the word of God, it's the only scripture in the world, which is the word of God. And this state is a false prophet, some believe, may they be atheists, or Christians, or Jews, or whatever, they believe that this religion, Islam, or the Prophet Muhammad, they don't recognise him.
03:21But taking into consideration that the Quran mentions the Prophet Muhammad five times, peace be upon them all, so Prophet Muhammad five times, Jesus 25, Abraham 69, and Moses 136 times.
03:39So if Muhammad, peace be upon him, so if Muhammad, peace be upon him, wrote the Quran, why would he write his name as one of the lowest, or the lowest certainly of these Prophets? The frequency when it's mentioned. And why would the Prophet, if he wrote the Quran, he was sent into the Arabs, but he's sent to the whole world. He's the only Prophet in the history of all Prophets, from Adam until Muhammad, who's sent to the whole world. No other Prophet was sent to the whole world.
04:06But every single Prophet was sent to the whole world, but every single Prophet was sent to a specific nation, as it is mentioned, for instance, in the Bible, in Matthew 15, 24, when Jesus, peace be upon him, states, I have not been sent, but to the lost sheep of the house of Ben-Israel. And in Matthew 10, 5, and 6, when he prepared his disciples to go and preach, and preach, and preach.
04:36He said to them in Matthew 10, 5, go ye not to the Gentiles, go ye not to the Gentiles, the way of the Gentiles, and to the cities of the Samaritans, enter ye not. So don't go to the Gentiles, don't enter the cities of the Samaritans. And then he repeats in Matthew 10, 6, peace be upon him, he repeats, I have not been sent, but to the house of Ben-Israel.
05:00So, whereas the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, if he were the one to write, why would he, and he was sent to the Arabs, as I mentioned earlier,
05:10why would he, why would he mention the other prophets a lot more than himself? And why would he, as I said, I mentioned, he was sent to the Arabs, so why would he take Mary, a Jew, I'm not talking about a religion, but a Jew of ethnicity, why would he say to the Arabs that he's, he wants to,
05:36he wants to preach to, why would he say to them that the Jewess is the most important? His wife, his wife, so his wives, so let's take, take Khadija and Aisha,
05:50for instance, they're not mentioned in the Quran, and his mom, Amina, is not mentioned, his daughter, one of his daughters, like Fatima, is not mentioned in the Quran,
06:00as we mentioned earlier, the only single female name in the entire Quran is Mary. So, if he were, if Muhammad was,
06:09wa'udu billah, if he was, if he were the person who wrote the Quran, then these facts would be rather the opposite of what they are.
06:16So, I do hope, as I said, this is present to you, to Christians, Jews, and Muslims as well. The reason why it's also present to Muslims,
06:28the vast majority of Muslims do not know these statistics, and they don't need them to follow the religion either, but if they can learn them,
06:39write them down, write them down, just the frequency of these prophets, how often they are mentioned in the Quran,
06:46and mention them to their friends, to their colleagues, to their non-Muslim friends, you know,
06:50and especially Christians and Jews, we are part of the Abraham faith.
06:58So, if they mention it to their colleagues, to their friends, to their neighbours, or whatever, they mention these facts.
07:03That will make people ponder, and I hope you will also do so, and think about this little present
07:12that we have given you today, and ponder. If you have not read the Quran, we invite you to pick a copy,
07:21or you can request a copy. Some organisations, for instance, like in the UK, they'll give you,
07:28in English, they'll give you a copy of the Quran free, free of charge, they'll send it to you.
07:32So, we hope that this will give some guidance.
