00:39the second fact which doubts whether Christopher Columbus, as we learnt when we were kids, discovered

00:46that the world is round, that he was the one responsible for discovering the world is round.

00:50There's another fact. Christopher Columbus happened to be an Italian and maybe two,

00:57three hundred years, if my memory doesn't let me down, some two, three hundred years before

01:03Christopher Columbus, there was a Moroccan by the name, a Moroccan geographer by the name of

01:11Muhammad Sharif al-Idrisi. You can google this name afterwards and read about him. But Muhammad Sharif

01:17al-Idrisi used to be a geographer contracted by the Italian monarchs, by the Italian king,

01:26so as to draft a world map. Funny enough that Christopher Columbus was not Spanish but he was Italian

01:33and strange, a bit strange, that a Moroccan is employed by again Italian,

01:39Italian monarch, so as to draft a world map and this Muhammad Sharif al-Idrisi, a world-renowned geographer,

01:49he used to pay travellers and he used to pay geographers and everything to bring him information

01:55and he has one of the most important world maps in the world at his time. Maybe it does not include the

02:03Americas but we do not know what was revealed or not. At the time, European countries used to race with

02:11each other so as to go to further continents and further lands, you know, overseas and take over

02:17other countries, so there's probably the reason why. I do not know, but I'm just speculating that

02:23probably this Muhammad Sharif al-Idrisi was there for a purpose and that he drew the map with

02:30Americas although they would deny this now or whatever as a historical fact and that Christopher

02:36Columbus knew that because he happened to be also Italian. That is probably very likely what could

02:44have happened but to have two people from the same country, you know, Muhammad Sharif al-Idrisi was

02:50Moroccan but contracted by the Italians, so this is one reason what may lead us to believe that it was

02:57not Christopher Columbus who actually discovered that the world was round but he knew it before as

03:02we mentioned earlier. There is one further fact. When Christopher Columbus went to the Americas as he

03:07was paid for and contracted for to go there, when he went he actually said he discovered the Americas

03:14but what is strange in the Americas there were again what they call Red Indians and these Red Indians

03:21where the Americas are very big. Some 37, 38 years ago I counted 13 in mainland only, some 13 countries in

03:32in South America, more or less eight in Central America and then we have the huge North America,

03:39Canada and the USA. Can you imagine how many Red Indians, as they call them, were there? So how can

03:46someone discover somewhere where other people are already there? Hundreds of millions of people were

03:51there. Hundreds of millions literally were there. How can someone discover it? It's like me if I go near

03:57an ice cream van and I see people waiting. They've ordered their ice cream and they have 20 quid,

04:0320 pounds in their hand and I say and I just go straight to them and say look that 20 quid is mine

04:08and then what's this guy about and I said no it is mine, I saw it first. I saw it first, they have

04:19it and even the ice cream van, the manual ice cream van saw it before me and the three they held

04:25it before I arrived there but I wish I saw it. I can only ask them you know did Christopher Columbus

04:31discover the Americas if they say so that 20 quid is mine and you can claim it also in the future when

04:36you see people near an ice cream van or take away or whatever just claim 50 quid whatever claim it

04:40just ask them one question did Christopher Columbus discover the Americas if they say yes fine yeah

04:46that's that that 50 quid is yours you can you can claim it. Okay that was our summary about who

04:53discovered uh discovered that the world is round and indeed the world is round we shall and not flat

05:01and we shall explain through the verses which Allah Azza wa Jal revealed to us in the Quran. So the

05:13the first verse we'll mention will be Al-Nazi'at 79-30. In Al-Nazi'at 79-30

05:20is called the Ardha, the Ardha Daarika water. A translation and afterwards he he made the one of

05:34the meanings of the ha-ha is to he made the actual earth egg-shaped this is one of the terms is egg-shaped

05:47meaning if it is x-shaped it cannot be flat it must be spherical and in fact the scientists

05:52will tell you today that the earth is spherical and not really around just like a round like a ball

06:00so so that is one verse maybe look if you're not entirely convinced then the second verse

06:06we'll mention will make things even clearer subhanallah the next verse is az-zomur and it is

06:135930 and in az-zomur 5930

06:31so he created the earth and the skies in true proportions

06:37in in with finite precision but in true proportions is usually the the translation

06:45which is used so if it created the skies and the earth in true proportions finite precision

06:50so he rolls the night some translate he wraps the night over the day and the opposite he wraps the

07:08day over the night but a better term would be to roll rather than to wrap which is all it is the same more

07:17or less the same meaning but why to roll is because as we say the quran is only the quran in arabic

07:24for various reasons but one reason is that the quran is the only scripture which is god's word

07:28and if god spoke those words revealed rather those words to us in arabic so means when someone reads

07:35a quran in any other language the muslims will not call it a quran but only a translation of the quran

07:41it's not accepted as a quran it's not accepted as a quran so this is why and the reason why i'll give you

07:45a a case in point the term is yukawwaru al-layla al-mahar he rolls even roll does not translate it

07:54why because yukawwaru comes uh it's from the same stem as qura and qura is a ball so yukawwaru

08:03kawwaru is a ball so god rolls this yukawwaru which we can we have difficulty translating to

08:12english and you have difficulty translating any other language so this precise term yukawwaru al-layla al-nahar

08:19means the earth let's say is spherical is a ball and he rolls it can only that yukawwaru can only

08:27exist that term as such if the earth is round it cannot exist if the earth is flat and this is the

08:37final and proof and it's a proof beyond reasonable doubt that the actual earth is around spherical and

08:47not flat
