A 30/60/90 Birthday Celebration - The Creation of Us (S2:E4)

The love and closeness of families can be traced to the traditions that are passed down that bind them together. In this episode of The Creation Of Us, Heather and Christen invite us in to share a unique event that links 3 generations of Christen’s family in a special way.
It’s Christen’s 30th birthday and there is a party happening in the Westbury, Long Island home she shares with Heather. But she is not the only one being celebrated!
“We’re having a joint birthday party for Christen, her Mom, and her Grandmother,” Heather explained. “It is 30-60-90 birthday, they are all 30 years apart in the same month, which is insane to me.”
The three generations, perfectly spaced across time, will soon be joined by Christen’s baby who is following perfectly in the mold set by her Mom and Grandma. “I knew last year that this time I was going to be pregnant,” Christen revealed. “I wanted it so bad, to keep the tradition going.”
From Big Bird, to Baby Bop, to Barney, Christen’s Mom always went all out for birthdays when she was growing up. “It always made me feel so special,” Christen recalled, “so that is one tradition I want to pass down.”
Grandma has fond memories, too. “Well, I think her first birthday she put her foot in the cake,” Grandma remembered. “It was very appetizing!”
Family and friends have gathered from all over the area to celebrate these 3 women, and with the new baby on the way, all are fondly remembering the good times past while also looking forward with excitement and hope to the future. Come and join in the fun…this party has it all….embarrassing stories, fun gifts, and three amazing cakes … one for each of the 30/60/90 birthday girls.
