Sarajevo's tunnel of life

This tunnel in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo is a museum and a tribute to the city which was under siege for three and a half years.

When the wars erupted following the break-up of Yugoslavia, Bosnian forces surrounded Sarajevo.

On April 6 1992, the siege began.
