00:56broader environmental challenges across the region. Central Asia is warming faster than global
01:01average, while glacial melt is expected to peak between 2035 and 2055. The region is also grappling
01:08with the ongoing crisis of the RLC, as well as falling water levels in the Caspian Sea, dropping
01:14by around 10 centimeters a year, posing risks to biodiversity and shipping routes. In response,
01:20Tukayev has proposed the creation of an international water organization under UN auspices to strengthen
01:26regional cooperation. Initial discussions on the initiative are expected to begin on the
01:31sidelines of the upcoming summit. The summit is also expected to outline green financing needs,
