Syrian rebels say they are willing to lay down their arms - if the Syrian army pulls tanks, artillery and heavy weapons out of opposition areas.
The offer was made by a spokesman for Free Syrian Army commanders and is the biggest step the rebels have taken towards a ceasefire since the uprising began more than a year ago.
