http://www.thailawforum.com : We traveled to Bang Sue train station to get a look at the assembly and transport of the “Big Bag” sandbags, which are being used in a number of locations in northern Bangkok to halt the spread of floodwaters into central Bangkok. A six kilometer long Big Bag floodwall in particular is preventing flooding in the Don Muang and Rangsit areas from spreading southwards into Bangkok, while relief teams pump out water from the affected areas?

Big Bags are touted internationally as being an efficient, eco-friendly, and effective means of disaster prevention, but are they working in Bangkok? Check out our video!
