Jordanelle State Parks was the spot on for the 2011 Outdoor Retailer Open Air Demo. Over 150 brands participated in the August 3rd event.
The day was packed with events including a 5K shoreline run, fly fishing casting lessons, geocaching treasure hunt and stand up paddling races.
The center point for the day was the reservoir which attendees tested the latest stand up paddling boards and kayaks. The day had a celebrity sighting with big wave innovator, Laird Hamilton, making an appearance at the Surftech booth to greet fans and sign autographs.
