Following the presentations in Zürich and Bern, the city of Basel is the new film setting for Job Koelewijn’s Real Fiction Cinema. Real Fiction Cinema is a temporary art intervention by Littmann Kulturprojekte. It’s a mobile cinema featuring real-life images. It combines a window resembling a cinema screen that shows live views of the scenery outside with well-known soundtracks from the history of film.

In Basel there are three cinemas that have been set up at Aeschenplatz, Claramatte and Petersplatz. Each of the cinemas has 23 seats and is open to the public free of charge until June 19, 2011.
