Founded in 1936 in Antwerp, BELGIUM, the Brussels based company FIB BELGIUM SA (previously Le Four Industriel Belge) is a manufacturer of industrial furnaces for various sectors mainly in the field of steel wire but is also supplying heating equipment to glass, ceramic, heat treatment and non-ferrous industries.
The FIB core business are equipment used to process steel wires where the company is a world-wide leading supplier that frequently receives the number one label. The range of products in this field includes batch heat treatment installations and continuous lines for patenting lines, annealing, galvanizing and oil tempered wires. Wires processed on these installations will become tire cord, spring, lift and crane cables, dry clean hangers, nails, piano wire, staples to mention just a few end products.
