Kirk Douglas dishes up Thanksgiving to the needy

Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas visited the Los Angeles Mission to serve a Thanksgiving meal to the needy.
The 93-year-old actor was joined by his wife Anne and fellow actor Blair Underwood, as well as hundreds of volunteers, to dish up the traditional holiday meal.
Douglas said: "Thanksgiving is a day in the year that we should remember every day of the year, it is a day in which you help people that need help."
Thousands lined up outside the Los Angeles Mission early for the hot meal.
The annual event has been a staple in the downtown area for the past 17 years. Organisers say they have seen an increase in those looking for help.
Herb Smith, President of the Los Angeles Mission, made sure no-one went hungry. Smith said: "We have about 25-hundred pounds of turkey, 800 pounds of mashed potatoes and vegetables, 250 gallons of gravy, tons of cranberry sauce and all the fixings, hundreds of pies and thousands of rolls. Everyone will get a meal here today."
The Mission has been serving the people of skid row, for over 70 years.
They provide shelter, food, clothing, as well as professional medical and dental services.
