00:00We're really worried, and many parents are worried, that the government's talking about reforming the system

00:05and they've got no clarity. And so parents who've fought really hard for education, health and care plans for their children

00:14are worried they could be taken away. And Little Democrats know the system is broken.

00:18The Conservatives left the special education needs system in a total disaster, frankly.

00:24But we don't want the rights taken away from children and parents.

00:28They need to be at the heart of this discussion.

00:31And I've written to the Prime Minister with five tests for SEND reform, for special education needs disability reform.

00:40And I think if they follow those principles, it would both reassure children and parents and actually improve the service.
