Jeff Leinen, from the US state of Arkansas, invited us to accompany him on a trip to his ancestral home in the Saarland.Jeff and his son son Alex are spending two weeks in Mettlach researching their ancestors, who emigrated in the mid-19th centry. Along the way they enjoy the sights of the Saarland, near the borders of both France and Luxembourg. Among the stops on their tour is the Villeroy & Boch Ceramik Museum in Mettlach, where they even receive a little present.
