00:00The only side still unbeaten in the Italian top division this season.
00:05Roma top scorers as well, by the way.
00:0728 goals scored in 10 games.
00:10They've won three.
00:12He also finds himself on the bench with Kobi Meynou starting.
00:15He's played just 64 minutes in this competition so far.
00:19Leonardo Bollerdi coming into the back three.
00:21And Divine Wrench of the Netherlands starting at right wing back.
00:24So four changes in all.
00:28Well, the Manchester United team very much under the spotlight
00:32after dismal recent results.
00:36The only time they have won on English soil was at Liverpool.
00:4326 seasons ago in the old UEFA Cup.
00:48Oh, that's run all the way through to Sule.
00:51And Roma are in front.
00:56Wide open spaces for Roma to exploit.
01:01And with their first chance of the game, it's buried by the Argentinian.
01:07And Michael Carrick has that sinking feeling.
01:12Jason Wilcox, the sporting director, looking on as well.
01:17Good work from Bollerdi.
01:22Vasquez with the clearance.
01:24Marlon very, very nicely done.
01:31And Moura looking for the run of Sule once more.
01:35Oh, he's got it back again here.
01:36Poor clearance.
01:37And they're looking for handball there.
01:39They've got it.
01:42Aidan Heaven.
01:44Marlon with the sprawling stop.
01:50Well, that looks pretty clear.
01:53Can Roma double their advantage?
01:58No problem.
01:59Slammed in by Doniel Marlon.
02:02It's 2-0 to Roma.
02:04A calamitous start for Michael Carrick's side.
02:11From the Red Devils.
02:13Marlon bursting through.
02:15Taking on Heaven.
02:16Oh, super stop.
02:18Comes out to Moura.
02:21Could have been three.
02:22Marlon just rag-dolling Heaven here.
02:25Little flick on by Christante.
02:28Just wanted it more.
02:30Hitted early.
02:31Testing Senna Lamens.
02:32That's going for the corner, isn't it?
02:35And Rodrigo.
02:37Were they to nick a goal back here at Manchester United,
02:41it could be a very different game in the second half.
02:45Short to Maynou.
02:48A simple one.
02:53That is their only attempt on target in the half.
03:02Rodrigo Moura.
03:06The movement up front for Roma is outstanding.
03:10Sule.
03:12Sule might take it on!
03:16My goodness, so close.
03:22Well, these players up front for Roma have been absolutely exceptional.
03:28Moura on the left.
03:29Sule just clipping the outside of the post after good work from Marlon as well.
03:35An outstanding first half for Roma, but an absolutely gruesome one for Manchester United and Michael Carrick.
03:42It doesn't get any better for him.
03:44Slovan Bratislava at the start of the second half.
03:49So away we go now, in the second 45, Manchester United.
03:54In fact, Jermaine's, though, been no serious test for a debutante goalkeeper.
03:59Coming to Old Trafford.
04:01Coming to Old Trafford.
04:02Cunha wants the return.
04:05Penalty.
04:05Penalty to Manchester United.
04:09Mancini can't believe it.
04:12But this could be a way back into the game for Michael Carrick's side.
04:1911 minutes gone in the second half.
04:23Oh, it's saved, but Fernandes is beaten to it by Chris Dantek.
04:30And the debutant goalkeeper, Devis Vazquez, makes a superb stop to keep his clean sheet intact.
04:41Well, how about that for someone who is the third-choice goalkeeper?
04:48He's been at the club over a year without making his debut.
04:52He comes to Old Trafford.
04:53That might be retaken.
04:56Chris Dantek might well have encroached.
04:59Because he gets to the ball first, that is what was checked.
05:04And I think Bruno Fernandes is going to get a reprieve here.
05:15The goalkeeper did nothing wrong, but Chris Dantek encroached.
05:23So, a twist in the tail.
05:26Which way does Fernandes go now?
05:33Same way.
05:34Yes, high into the net.
05:37And Manchester United are back in the game.
05:45Could that change there and his fortunes?
05:53A totally different vibe.
05:56Cunha looking for Mbomo.
05:59He's in here.
06:00Oh, it's off both posts.
06:03Incredible.
06:03Look at this.
06:05Suddenly, Manchester United swarming forward.
06:09Cunha to Mbomo.
06:11And this looks for all the world like it's going to be.
06:17Taken by Bruno Fernandes.
06:19Oh, Maguire shrugging off his marker.
06:25Oh, Maguire shrugging off his marker.
06:25Oh, Maguire shrugging off his marker.
06:28Darone getting his head to the ball.
06:32Eyes on the ball.
06:35And just that little deflection off Wesley Franca.
06:40off his shoulder, otherwise that was 2-2.
06:51Roma living dangerously.
06:54Brian Mbomo with the corner.
06:58Oh, Maguire's there again.
06:59Oh, they've made a right mess of that, Roma.
07:03Oh, they've made a right mess of that, Roma.
07:23Looking to switch it.
07:25This is a very good idea, Bruno Fernandes.
07:27Oh, a chance and a goal.
07:30It's Cunha.
07:33Oh, a calamity at the back for Roma.
07:36A total miscue from Leonardo Valeri.
07:44Mr. Reliable usually, but a swing.
07:49Maynou.
07:53Oh, in it goes by LASIK.
07:55And Cunha!
08:03You are kidding me!
08:07Manchester United 3, Roma 2.
08:12Cunha dives into the crowd.
08:15It is a spectacular turnaround from Manchester United.
08:24Oh, that's a little bit too aggressive from Cunha.
08:29And he's off.
08:31Second yellow card.
08:35Manchester United down to ten.
08:39Well, what a mixed night he's had.
08:42I mean, that is a yellow card all day long.
08:45Volleying into touch will be just fine.
08:48And there is full time.
08:52Michael Carrick with his chest puffed out.
08:54Shakespeare shakes the hand of Gaspard.
