00:00on the pylon touchdown Arizona the great Bobby Belt shoddy and Bobby just talking don't make me
00:07take off my belt don't make me take off my belt we're not over to you Bobby how far does
00:12the
00:12blame need to trickle down let's talk about it here in below the belt which is sponsored by
00:17DNM leasing that's below the belt which is heard on 105.3 the fan the cowboys radio flagship yes
00:26we gotta have a fun post-show meeting today boys buckle up cowboys radio flagship 105.3 the fan
00:32the flagship of all the teams actually shouldn't be that hard to confuse fact we got dark roast we
00:37got flagship we got plane rides we got we got everything there's a whole joke in there probably
00:43that can be written for the dark roast yeah Bobby Bell uh we're steak friday at nine o'clock uh
00:50Pete
00:50all right so there's obviously this is a a Jerry Jones yesterday was talking about the
00:57organizational wide failure that exists and that you know this is something that everybody's got
01:02to wear that everybody's got to take a whole responsibility from this and that you know oh
01:07everybody ultimately owns a piece of this he did not want to put it on Schottenheimer directly yeah
01:13um and he was given a couple opportunities the more he talked to to put it on Schottenheimer and
01:19it seemed like he moved further away from saying it was just his fault uh which i mean
01:24i guess to be completely like directed fair like yeah there were other people yesterday who were
01:30also screwing up like it was not just you had a defensive collapse that happened in a cocaine
01:36heartbeat it was fast we need a we need a um we need a pro bowl roster of scrubs that
01:43have lit up
01:43the cowboys just this year the number one is going to be would the quarterback be Jalen Daniels or
01:49Gardner Minshew all right because Daniels won the game Minshew lit them up all right we even have
01:54backups we even got pro bowl pro bowl scrub back alternate yeah that's second team uh is it
02:00Algier at running back as he had 176 total yards coming in scataboo maybe and then matched and top
02:09that in two damn plays just like that third string running back lighting you're supposed to be a power
02:16guy Tyler Algier all of a sudden turns into Bijan Robinson against you Tyler Algier so before his
02:22touchdown run the Cardinals had 139 yards of offense uh the next two drives he had 141 on his own
02:29and if you look at yesterday and a touchdown catch where he ran through Durant and Downs
02:35man them up at the goal line he outgained Dallas in the second half by 30 yards by himself so
02:42Tyler
02:43Algier picked up 30 more yards than the Cowboys offense did in the second half so he was uh yeah
02:47that's going to be way up near the top um you know Michael Wilson who apparently has broken ribs
02:52and played like that yesterday with broken ribs like the funny thing is Trey McBride didn't even like
02:57kill you really yeah no not at all down stretch he made some plays I bet him 70 yards over
03:03on
03:03Kalshi barely got you there and I bet and I was I was done until the end you needed OT
03:08so it's been it's been really bad this year already and and it's reached a point that
03:16the if it is a organizational wide failure there's some sort of broad failure here then there are other
03:24shoddy's part of this there needs to be discussions about in general top down on the coaching staff
03:30who's getting a pass here or who's somebody who we feel like is deserving of a and a chance to
03:37write it so for instance I would think for instance most people still believe that Clayton Adams has
03:43done a good job for the most part it seems like yeah two and a half curious fantastic again for
03:49the
03:49most part um yesterday that is insane that's bipolar that you threw around Philadelphia like
03:57that up front and then you did that yesterday with your run game and o-line the Eagles run defense
04:02was
04:02better heading into that game than the Cardinals run defense was heading into this one and now Brian
04:09kept Brian and I were sitting there next to each other in the press box watching it and Brian was
04:13just
04:13like he was so dumbfounded by it that he was just like is this short week and you ran it
04:21too much and just
04:22like wore them down like what's going on he thought Javante was tired yeah he thought Javante was tired but
04:27also like the the offensive line is like I don't know what their problem is like they're just not they're
04:31not
04:31getting the same sort of push you have Tyler Smith in there yeah you have Booker in there yep and
04:38Tyler
04:38Smith there were a couple times earlier where I was like okay that was a nice play but man as
04:41it went on it
04:42looked like not only were they not getting any push they were not able to protect and ultimately
04:48that can be I I would say on the coaching staff Connor Riley is one who who probably still gets
04:56a little bit of a passing grade for most fans at this point because I do think he's done a
05:02decent
05:02job with BB Booker has shown improvements Guyton for the most part the season has rallied so offensive
05:08line coach Clayton Adams I think most people are giving them passes so we got to look at a couple
05:13other things first off Christian Parker is all of the good feeling that existed from the way they
05:22some of the things they did against Green Bay some of the ways they rallied against Philadelphia and
05:27the way they played in the first half against Arizona that's all thrown out the window at this
05:31point isn't it like it just feels like you've completely reset back to zero it's that days without an
05:37accident sign on an assembly line or whatever and it's just like nope you're back to zero it doesn't
05:40matter what you did you had an accident yesterday the other problem here that's got to be addressed
05:44is they talked so much about their ability to scheme pressure after Micah left like they talked about how
05:52they were going to do that and then this year same sort of thing and they went you know what
05:56we're going to bring in somebody to coach the outside linebacker specifically to Darro Uzo
06:03Daribe they brought him in they brought in obviously Marcus Dixon to be the defensive line coach and then
06:11you guys can put a lot on us in the media for for whatever evaluation for the Christian Parker hype
06:18everything else that's fine the one the fan base is going to have to wear dear God the way you
06:25guys talked up that this was pass rush was not going to be a problem because they brought in BT
06:28Jordan to be a specialist along the defensive line that's the swing and miss y'all gotta own because
06:35I don't ever want to hear the Duke Betty weather of pass rush comparison again because Duke has put
06:40them in a position to succeed this is you know you get Gerald McCoy up on television a couple weeks
06:45ago
06:46who like is buddies with your pass rush specialist going yeah that defensively their pass rush doesn't
06:52look like they know what the hell they're doing like that's where things stand on that front is
06:55that you brought in somebody to be a pass rush specialist which to be fair I think mostly what
06:59he was brought in for was relationships and connections and that's what they did have five
07:06sacks yesterday yeah no but I'm just talking about in general it's not been anything that he has not
07:11elevated the pass rush at all yeah what you get from the pass rush is just what you get the
07:15biggest
07:15problem you have defensively is your defensive end with like a pass rush in my opinion yeah and then look
07:20the when is leading yeah Quinn and yesterday I thought and we'll do post that tomorrow I think
07:26Quinn and played well for the most part yesterday yeah um and I was even thinking about for Sean Gary
07:31for a second star up man that was just either the problem personal foul the way things this guy and
07:38it was it was a dumb one too it was so bad you think he's a rookie man man it
07:43would have been
07:43fourth and ten yeah I didn't had the early uh defensive off so he jumped yeah that was early
07:49uh pff graded him as the highest highest graded starter on defense you said starter well who was
07:55the highest graded player uh marquise bell three snaps well that doesn't get that's a change by the
08:01way they did take bell off the field finally now that's probably a lot to do with pj lock but
08:05he
08:05played fewer snaps than elijah clark did yesterday yeah and so good that's they were all on run
08:11that's the I'll have to be on run play that's the kind of adjustment that you need I do think
08:15that
08:17ultimately the best shot you might get of somebody being let go and somebody having to
08:24wear something and it's not the name you're thinking of after yesterday I would guess
08:28but it's Nick Sorensen Sorensen might be the one that ultimately they go ahead and just move on to
08:33somebody else just to try and do something kind of different along the coaching staff I was okay with
08:38their special teams yeah they were not awful yesterday other than trying for 60 yard kicks
08:43and missing them when you've got some sort of time to do that that's on Schottenheimer not Sorensen
08:47by the way what was the I don't remember the distance I thought they're and people are done
08:52and over with with Kevante Turpin after the return game yesterday as well yeah goodson was goodson was
08:58good yeah but then you've got the bobble for mingo yeah and then you still juice do you think
09:03Jonathan mingo has no one has ever confused it would be like explosive or elusive whatsoever why
09:09is he returning kicks and you clearly don't trust him enough to catch footballs for you as a receiver
09:14I don't know why you trust him to catch footballs inside the 20 so I mean it's just it's been
09:18a whole
09:18bunch of puzzling decisions that they they've made in different places that's just the one area where
09:23I could see them say we've got an assistant here we can elevate him it can rattle cages a little
09:27bit
09:27maybe it sends a message of like hey you guys need to change this up it's like for instance they
09:31would not
09:31make a head coaching change in the middle of the year they did fire paul alexander in the middle
09:35of the year a couple years ago you know what it did change things though that I'm not saying that
09:39it'll it would have the same effect now because I think this is a worse football team but it did
09:42the offensive line played better like significantly better when mark colombo took over um and so moving
09:48on from paul alexander that would be where I think we need to start pressing jerry a little to see
09:54what
09:54he'd tell us is he wouldn't do the top but he may rattle cages to go all right nope but
10:01this area
10:02this position group has not been good we've got enough assistance somebody can cover that
10:06you can pick up some extra slack christian parker over here and coach that unit up a little bit
10:10more if we move on we could do this we could do that I mean do you look at it
10:14and say hey you know
10:15what uh and I'm not saying this would be one of them so just let's be clear about that do
10:21they're
10:22looking to go like dac's not been playing great quarterback coach we're saying let's rattle things
10:27up a little bit moving on from the quarterback coach and telling shoddy shoddy you have to take the
10:31quarterback coaching responsibilities now too like or ken dorsey you're going to move up I do think
10:36that there's an increasing chance that they do something like that under schottenheimer to just
10:41try to see if it lights any sort of a fire jerry was asked after the game what's your biggest
10:45concern
10:46right now well I don't know uh none of us are getting it done and uh that should be my
10:52concern so
10:53I'm not pointing that shot in I'm not pointing anybody but none of us have it done I haven't been
10:58involved in too many games that we uh should have won it and yet the opportunity we had to
11:03win this game so uh that uh is a big snapshot that we're going to put uh above our mirror
11:13if you go out there today and you fire your special teams coach today let's just say today
11:18you fire your special teams coach after after seven million dollar kicker missed a 60 yarder that
11:24never should have been from 60 anyway what do you mean that's the only thing he brings to the
11:28table he's 60 yard kicker man well I mean it should have been from 52 all right or 48
11:33I am getting thrown the ball I am getting tired of that with the the Aubrey misses whenever the
11:37Aubrey misses happen to people like it's from 60 what are you supposed to do it's like well that's
11:40why he gets paid seven and you didn't just throw in any random kicker but yeah but like what what
11:45percentage from 60 should you be I I don't think you should be any higher than about I don't know
11:49where it's at now as of two weeks ago there was about a nine game stretch where Aubrey was the
11:53least
11:53accurate kicker in the NFL from 60 period you got to do a study on it you got to look
12:00up what he
12:00was compared to the rest of the league and how many he had right yeah the problem is that I
12:05hate how
12:06they do it where they don't just you know differentiate 60 from 50 because like you know
12:11at 61 it's it's to me it should be less than 50 50.
