Go out with a bang!

00:05Hi, I'm Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor of Refinery29, and today on Trend Takeout it's
00:11party time! Which means, yes, we'll be showing you three easy ways to dress up this fall and
00:18winter season. This first look I'm wearing is a two-for-one. It's both flinged out and bodycon.
00:25So the first tip is when you're wearing a tight dress on the top, you're allowed to keep it
00:30practical on the bottom. It kind of gives the outfit a balance and you get to be comfortable.
00:35That's a bonus. Like a lot of holiday party dresses, this dress is bejeweled, meaning you
00:40don't need to wear a lot of jewelry. It's built-in. Instead, you can punch up your makeup.
00:50So the second look is kind of like the antithesis to the first, where the other one didn't require
00:55jewelry. This one does. You play up some of your typical everyday work pieces, like a
01:01fun skirt and a playful t-shirt, and give them a pop of color with socks or bright tights,
01:07and really deck out on the statement jewelry. I would definitely wear this to an office party
01:11so I look festive and fun without looking too sexy.
01:20This last look is a bit more unexpected. We're definitely playing with a few bold trends here.
01:25The first is prints on prints, and the second is dress on pants. Obviously, if you don't
01:31want to take it to this level, you can wear these pieces separately, especially the party
01:35pants, which are a great way to stay warm while you're going out with a little blouse on top
01:40instead of the dress.
01:41Now you have three soiree-ready looks to release your inner party animal. Rage on.
