00:10Hi, I'm Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor of Refinery29, and today on Trend Takeout we're
00:16talking about textures. Especially this season we're seeing a lot of luxe fabrics that make
00:21you feel like a fashion queen. So my first look I'm wearing a lot of textures, silk and velvet
00:28and leather and metal, and though they're very different fabrics, they go well together because
00:33they're in the same color family. And I love this touch of glam with the clutch.
00:41The second look is all about the tap string, mixed with other rich textures like velvet and metallic.
00:47It's also great because it's super warm but not too heavy, so I'm festive yet practical.
00:56This last look pairs a couple of unique textures including laser cut leather and a thick printed
01:02skirt. I mean if you're going to be wearing a mini skirt in the fall and winter months,
01:07going with a thick luxe fabric on the bottom definitely keeps you more warm than usual.
01:12So there you have it, three takes on mixing fall and winter textures.
01:16Looks like you can have your velvet cake and eat it too. See you next time.
01:32We'll see you next time.
