00:05Hi, I'm Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor of Refinery29, and today on Trend Takeout, it's party time.
00:13Which means, yes, we'll be showing you three easy ways to dress up this fall and winter season.
00:20This first look I'm wearing is a two-for-one. It's both flinged out and bodycon.
00:25So, the first tip is, when you're wearing a tight dress on the top, you're allowed to keep it practical
00:30on the bottom.
00:31It kind of gives the outfit a balance and you get to be comfortable. That's a bonus.
00:36Like a lot of holiday party dresses, this dress is bejeweled, meaning you don't need to wear a lot of
00:41jewelry. It's built in.
00:42Instead, you can punch up your makeup.
00:50So, the second look is kind of like the antithesis to the first.
00:54Where the other one didn't require jewelry, this one does.
00:57You play up some of your typical everyday work pieces, like a fun skirt and a playful t-shirt,
01:03and give them a pop of color with socks or bright tights, and really deck out on the statement jewelry.
01:09I would definitely wear this to an office party so I look festive and fun without looking too sexy.
01:20This last look is a bit more unexpected. We're definitely playing with a few bold trends here.
01:25The first is Prince on Prince, and the second is dress on pants.
01:30Obviously, if you don't want to take it to this level, you can wear these pieces separately,
01:34especially the party pants, which are a great way to stay warm while you're going out with a little blouse
01:40on top,
01:40instead of the dress.
01:41Now you have three soiree-ready looks to release your inner party animal.
01:46Rage on.
