Oh, spring — what do we do with you? Don't get us wrong — we love you, but you're so hot and cold with us that we never know what to wear. Lucky for us, in this edition of Trend Takeout, NY editor Annie Georgia Greenberg shows us the overs and unders of layering so you can show off your fashionable prowess...even if the mercury suddenly drops.

00:07Hi, I'm Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor of Refinery29, and today on Trend Takeout we're
00:13layering up for spring, because who doesn't love a smooth transition? This first look is all about
00:18weekend wear, which means it's casual and comfortable, totally a plus. We're using two
00:23shirts, because two shirts are better than one, that keeps the layers slim, and it's a perfect
00:27day-to-day look that'll take you from morning to night.
00:35Believe it or not, there will be a day when you won't have to wear a jacket, and when that
00:40day comes, lean on lighter layering pieces like a classic vest or a silk scarf. I love
00:45this one because it's printed, which means I can mix and match patterns. This to me is
00:56evening layering at its best. We obviously have a very dressed up dress that's played
01:00down with this blazer and vest combination. And the best part is, you get three sets of
01:05pockets in one outfit. You don't need to carry a bag. So now you have three great ways to
01:11layer up for spring. It'll definitely make these awkward in between months all the more fashionable.
