00:09Hi, I'm Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor of Refinery29 and today on Trend Takeout we're
00:14talking about layers and layers and layers for fall and winter. This first look I'm actually
00:21wearing a jacket on jacket. If you can believe it I'm wearing a button-down, a sweater, a jean
00:26jacket and a printed overcoat. This is great for the transitional months when you have
00:31lighter weight outerwear pieces that you can kind of throw together to create a very comprehensive
00:36put together look. This next lesson in layering is about doing the unexpected. Instead of putting
00:46a turtleneck sweater over a dress, we've put it under and have belted it. It's a great
00:50easy way to stay warm without looking too bulky. A great alternative to jackets is big vests.
01:01We paired it here with a chunky sweater underneath that's great for transitional months. This
01:06one's obviously very warm but we've also seen vests in sleeker, more tailored suiting pieces
01:11that are great for layering under and over pieces to give them a little bit more polish.
01:17You can't survive fall and winter without layering up, so try it for yourself. With these pieces,
01:23more is definitely more.
