Yeah, we've all had that moment. The one where we want to chuck everything (job included) to make art, bake cakes, or launch a magazine. Well, believe it or not, there are people who've actually done it...successfully. Now, granted these people have outsized talent and extensive experience. For instance, Mike Perry and Curtis Kulig have been painting since they were young, Claudia Wu spent decades in publishing, and Amirah Kassem baked her way through childhood with her mother. Yet, they all have a lot to say about what it is to be creative, what it's like to do something you love full-time, and how to identify the thing you just need to do with your life. Maybe, just maybe, if you listen to the video above and dig deep into our Month of Visionaries series, you'll find the original hiding inside you, learn what it takes to dedicate your life to a calling, and never be envious of anyone's career again. Fingers crossed, y'all.

00:05What makes a creative person?
00:07I think somebody that's willing to push boundaries and try something different.
00:11I guess think a little bit outside the box.
00:15I think what makes someone original is just if they're being themselves and just being true to themselves.
00:21I feel like everyone's unique in their own way, so there's no one else like you. You should just be
00:27that.
00:28I bake all day, every day, and if I'm not baking, I'm thinking about an egg's cake.
00:34It's funny, sometimes I wear like a white button-up so I can feel like I'm going to work.
00:40Some people start by making the decision to be creative, and then other people, like myself I think, just start
00:48by existing.
00:50I don't think I have a choice, it's just kind of like this almost obsessive compulsive desire to just constantly
00:56be making things.
00:57Yum!
