00:00Hi, how are you? How are you? I'm good. I'm good. What's going on?
00:05I am Chime. I am Leanne. Born in the SIPP. Made with wonder. And I am Dorothy's daughter.
00:18What's your favorite thing about being you?
00:22That I'm me. I can just do what I feel and it's okay. I think for the longest time coming
00:27up,
00:28whenever you like something different, it's perceived as weird or you're not cool if you like
00:33this, but I feel like now everything I do is cool. Like it's me and everybody should feel like that,
00:37you know. How was it growing up with the hair that you had? I just wanted to show girls and
00:43show like
00:43my family too. You can be beautiful and wear your hair in its natural state and you know,
00:48you don't have to come to society's standard of beauty. You don't have to meet that, you know,
00:53you can do youth and be outside of the box and that's cool too. That's a beautiful thing to be
00:57different to be on the outside.
01:00What do you struggle with?
01:01I really feel like everybody has the same struggle. You know, everyone deals with,
01:05you know, not feeling worthy sometimes or good enough and it's just really shutting it down.
01:10Realizing, okay, the person next to me is probably thinking the same thing and we're both tripping
01:14so we need to get it together and just realize, you know, what we're supposed to be doing and
01:17just believe in ourselves and, you know, that's so cliche, believe in yourself, but it's so real.
01:22It's so real because so many of us tear ourselves down, more so when we look in the mirror and
01:27build ourselves up.
01:30I'm on Instagram, I'm on Facebook, on television, seeing all these beautiful women doing amazing
01:35things like you and it all inspires me.
01:41Thank you so much for spending this time.
01:43That's a little close.
