00:01So I'll just jump right in.
00:06I am Mikayla.
00:07I'm Juliana.
00:09Born in Germany.
00:10Made with Seoul.
00:11I am Helen's daughter.
00:20When you were younger, was there anything specific that you felt uncomfortable about your hair?
00:25You know, it was more other people feeling uncomfortable about my hair.
00:29I had, my hair was like this, but it was long.
00:33And it was blonde.
00:35And no one else in my family had hair that looked like this.
00:39All anybody wanted to do was control it.
00:42But I never wanted it to be different.
00:45Even though everyone around me had different hair.
00:49I thought, I always knew my hair was magic.
00:53Do you feel like you were born to do something or be something?
00:56Yeah, I was born to be me.
00:57Just like you were born to be you.
01:00Everybody is born somebody and something wonderful and unique and amazing.
01:08It's kind of like the hair as a metaphor.
01:10It's other people's reaction to your wonderfulness.
01:14What inspires you to stay committed and to remind yourself that those issues are important?
01:20You do.
01:23Real talk.
01:24I mean, it's thinking of you and working in service of and for young women.
01:30That is the truth.
01:31I invite you to be really courageous.
01:34And if you could tell every girl in the world one thing, what would it be?
01:41We've been waiting for you.
01:47We've been waiting for you.
01:48I don't know.
01:49That was pretty good.
01:50I am.
01:51That was pretty good.
01:52I have a gift.
01:54That is a gift.
